30-Day Return Window
We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original factory packaging with all included hardware, documentation, and accessories.
Full Refund — Days 1 to 14
Returns received within 14 days of delivery are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.
Restocking Fee — Days 15 to 30
Returns received between 15 and 30 days of delivery are subject to a 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund amount.
No Returns After 30 Days
We cannot accept returns on any item more than 30 days after the delivery date, without exception.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded under any circumstances:
- Made-to-Order items (clearly marked on the product page)
- Any product that has been installed or mounted on a vehicle
- Any product that has been used, powered on, or wired
- Items with removed or damaged original packaging
- Replacement parts and individual components once opened
- Items damaged due to improper installation
Installation Voids Return Eligibility
Any spotlight, worklight, or accessory that has been physically installed, drilled, wired, or mounted to a vehicle is not eligible for return. Please confirm the correct part number for your specific vehicle before installing. Use Unity's Application Search at unityusa.com to verify compatibility.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email info@spotlightdepot.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will respond within 1 business day with a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Pack the item securely in its original box, placed inside a separate outer shipping box.
- Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the outer box.
- Ship to the address provided in your RA confirmation.
Do not return any item without a Return Authorization number. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender.
Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a trackable shipping method. SpotlightDepot is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
If the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product on arrival), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Defective or Warranty Items
If you believe your product is defective, contact us at info@spotlightdepot.com within 30 days of delivery. Unity products carry a manufacturer warranty — warranty claims for Unity products may be directed to Unity Manufacturing Co. at unityusa.com. We will assist in facilitating the claim where possible.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, place a new order for the correct item and initiate a return for the original item. This ensures you receive the replacement as quickly as possible without waiting for your return to be processed first.
